Katherine Barnett / Associate

Katherine joined Sumerian in 2025, bringing over 15 years of experience in finance with a particular focus on business partnering within Commercial Finance. She provides financial insight that supports both strategic direction and day-to-day decision making.

Before joining Sumerian, Katherine spent nine years at Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd, where she held senior roles including Head of Finance. During this time, she worked across a variety of business divisions, developing a strong track record in delivering financial leadership and supporting commercial growth.

Katherine is a Chartered Accountant (ACA, ICAEW) and holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of York.
